The Neeraj Arora Photography Experience
I find reasons to celebrate life on a daily basis and I bring the same positive attitude to all my photoshoots. My primary goal during my sessions, whether it is with young children, couples, or families, is for my clients to have a fun, relaxed experience where we together create images that reflect the inner beauty of every individual and highlight the special connections among people.
I strive to create heartwarming and joyful images that capture both posed portraits where I seamlessly guide you into natural looking poses as well as the candid moments that spontaneously emerge during my fun photoshoots.
Below are five simple steps in my process and what you can expect
Introductions
1. Once you get in touch with us by filling out the form on the contact page, we will schedule a complimentary phone consultation to better understand your needs, provide you with information on all our packages and pricing, and answer all questions you may have.
Booking
2. The next step is to finalize the date for your portrait session or special event. A nominal, non-refundable retainer fee will be due at the time of booking so I can reserve your date and time on my calendar.
Pre Session Communication
3. Close to the date of your session/event, we will connect to discuss final details and address any additional special requests or wishes you may have for the session.
The Photoshoot
4. On the day of the portrait session, my main instruction to my clients is to come with the aim to have fun. We will have a relaxed, fun-filled photoshoot when we meet. For coverage of special, milestone events, my goal is to seamless blend in with the guests so that I cover the event in as unobtrusive way as possible.
The Final Result – Your Images
5. In approximately two weeks after the photoshoot, you will receive a link to an online gallery with professionally edited images from your session/event. The number of images you can download will depend upon the package you selected at the time of booking. This will also be your chance to upgrade your package. Prints and/or framed products that may have been selected as part of different packages will be delivered separately.
Investment
Family portrait sessions
We offer children, couples/maternity, and family portrait sessions in our home studio in Boyds, MD. Sessions typically last approximately 60 minutes. Weather permitting, clients may choose to include a part of the session to be conducted outdoors on our premises in addition to the indoor studio shoot.
Family sessions in our studio start at $200 which includes the session fee and three professionally edited, high resolution digital images. Additional digital images and prints can be purchased separately. Detailed pricing and available packages will be discussed during our initial phone consultation. Typically, families invest anywhere between $350-$750 per session.
We also conduct portrait sessions in clients' homes or at other outdoor locations close to our studio, on request. These offsite sessions start at $250.
Professional headshots
Professional headshot sessions last approximately 20-30 minutes. Headshot sessions start at $150 which includes the session fee and three professionally edited, high resolution digital images. Weather permitting, clients may choose to include part of the session to be conducted outdoors on our premises.
Special milestone celebrations and events
We cover a range of special milestone celebrations in the lives of our clients. These include baby showers, high school and college graduations, special birthdays and anniversaries, engagements, pre-wedding ceremonies (e.g., Sangeet or Mehendi for Indian and Pakistani weddings) and receptions, retirements, and different religious and cultural ceremonies. Pricing for sessions depends upon the type, size, duration, and location of the event. Please get in touch for details on pricing and available packages.
Senior portraits
Senior portrait sessions typically last 90 minutes and are conducted with a combination of one outdoor location and a studio shoot. Please get in touch for details on pricing and available packages.
Cake smash sessions
Cake smash sessions are conducted in our indoor studio and typically last 45-60 minutes. Please get in touch for details on pricing and available packages.
Coming soon in 2021: Seasonal mini sessions
Planned seasonal mini sessions include sunflower mini sessions in July in Poolesville MD, Fall mini sessions in September in Seneca Creek State Park, Gaithersburg, MD, and Christmas/holiday mini sessions in November/December in our portrait studio, Boyds, MD. Each mini session lasts approximately 20 minutes.
